Are these products regulated? What about sales tax?
Envirolast XT ™ Wood Stain and Seal is a zero VOC product, that means zero air pollutants and zero flammability. It cleans up with Boraxo Brand hand soap. According to the MSDS, it’s non-toxic, non-hazardous and biodegradable. It is neither EPA, nor DOT controlled. This means you can store it in any suburban garage and drive it or ship it anywhere, with no special handling.
All sales are subject to local sales tax. You will need to collect and pay local sales taxes. You will be able to purchase product tax-free once you have a resellers permit in your local state.
How do I become a trained, successful distributor?
You start with hands on training from your mentor distributor or one of our corporate training professionals. You use this web site to interact with our entire community of distributors sharing application, cleaning and marketing tips. The more we work together and solve problems for each other, the better our brand name and group does as a whole!
You will have your own web site here. We will constantly update your site using your before, during, after pictures you provided, as well as letters from your clients. This means your focus becomes driving potential clients to the site and let the pictures and letters do the talking. The web site will have extensive product information on the Envirolast XT ™ product line. It will have "do-it-yourself" tips for homeowners and contractors buying product from you. Remember, you will make money by both using your own top quality product line at wholesale, as well as sell product retail from your trailer to "do-it-yourselfers" and builders. This makes you the only stop in your area when it comes to wood restoration and protection.
What is the investment to become a distributor?
The biggest investment will be your time and a small initial investment to prepare yourself for using and selling our product line. All Envirolast XT ™ Wood Stain and Seal is delivered in clear formula and are custom colored at the job site with our Super UV ™ Transoxide Pigments. These colorants, we have twelve colors available, are stored in 8 oz. tubes which are easily stirred into the clear formula to make many colors available, while only storing clear formula. This gives you and your customers the most options with a minimal inventory on hand. To acquire wholesale distributor pricing you must fill out our online distributor agreement that includes your initial order of product and a "distributor pak" of 10 x 12 color tubes. You now have enough colorant options to make 50 gallons of each color on hand, in your inventory, at any time. You can then order "10 pak" and "gallon jugs" of each of the twelve colors to replace your colorant inventory, as you need it.
